About

Dan Mancini is a technical writer by trade, fiction writer by vocation, and writer of film criticism by accident (at DVD Verdict.com, where he has been on staff since 2002). He also enjoys writing brief autobiographical blubs in the third-person.

Dan hails from Chicago. He holds an M.A. in English literature from Northern Illinois University because, let’s face it, a post-graduate degree in the humanities from a university in the Midwest is a rock-solid guarantee of fabulous wealth and prestige. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, two children, and the world’s most diabolically intelligent canine.

Despite his current geography and the Atlanta Braves’ stellar farm system (at least in years past), Dan will remain a Cubs fan until the day he dies (and probably after).
